17.02.2011  First interactive lecture on Educational Management

On February 16, the NovSU Competence Center hosted the first online lecture on educational management. The lecture was organized for the partner-universities networking within the framework of TEMPUS-4 project “Network Interaction of Partner-Universities in Realization of the Three-Cycle Training in Educational Management”*.
 
The lecture was organized for the of three universities -  Novgorod State University (Russia), Smolensk State University (Russia), and Khmelnitsk National University (Ukraine)  and representatives of various educational institutions.
 
Prof., Dr. Mikhail Pevzner, NovSU Vice-Rector for International Affairs, welcomed the participants in Russian and Ukrainian, wishing all the active work.

The theme of the first online lecture was devoted to personnel policy and staff development. The lecture was delivered by Prof., Dr. Mikhail Pevzner NovSU Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Prof., Dr. Alexander Shirin, Director of the NovSU Institute of Continual Pedagogical Education..

* The TEMPUS-4 project “Network Interaction of Partner-Universities in Realization of the Three-Cycle Training in Educational Management” was launched in January, 2010 for the purpose of creation of network of eleven universities from Europe and former Soviet Union countries and development of new curricula for network three-cycle training in educational management including postgraduate cycle. Each partner-university from former Soviet Union country will create under support of EU universities Competence Centers which will ensure sustainable quality of training and re-training in educational management on the international level within the network.  The project involves 11 universities from different countries: Russia, Germany, Ukraine, Belarus, Poland and Austria.
