The death of the hero in Boris Ryzhy’s poems in the context of the myth of the poet 

Миф об Орфее как архетип мифа о поэте включает: избранничество, сакральность, учительство, служение, нищелюбие, свободу, одиночество, жертвенность, смерть как плату за дар. Выделяются две эпохи актуализации: романтизм и Серебряный век. На Б.Рыжего оказали влияние обе эпохи. Герой в лирике и Автор в жизни помнят о мифе, демонстрируют своей судьбой ценность творчества, ценность поэзии в условиях распада государства, распада социального уклада, в условиях тотальной деконструкции мифа постмодернизмом.

The myth of Orpheus as an archetype of the myth of the poet includes the following aspects: divine election, sacredness, teaching vocation, devotion, love of poverty, freedom, loneliness, self-sacrifice, and death as a punishment for the gift. There are two time periods of actualization of the myth: Romanticism and the Silver Age which influenced Boris Ryzhy. Both his lyrical hero and the author himself in his life keep the memory of the myth; their fate demonstrates the value of creation and the value of poetry at the time of disintegration of the State and familiar social structures in conditions of total deconstruction of the myth by postmodernism.
