Приводятся результаты изучения коллекции мягких сапог Пятницкого-I раскопа в Старой Руссе. Исследовано 94 находки, хорошо сохранившихся и датированных благодаря особенностям культурного слоя, сохраняющего органические материалы. Выделен и описан ряд особенностей кроя. Практически все детали мягких сапог на усадьбах Пятницкого раскопа найдены в слоях, датируемых периодом с 1230-ых по 1320-е гг. (при этом максимальное количество наблюдается в слоях 1270-ых — 1290-ых гг.). Только единичные находки датированы 1150—1190-ми гг. и периодом с 1320-х до 1360-х гг. После 1320-х гг. мягкие сапоги повсеместно исчезают и быстро заменяются сапогами жесткой конструкции, что согласуется с данными из других средневековых русских городов.

The article is devoted to the results of studies of the soft-soled type boots with inserted seam assemblage from Pyatnitsky-I excavation site in Staraya Russa. 94 finds were researched. They are preserved well and could be dated due to special characteristics of cultural layer (which saves the finds made of organic materials). The peculiarities of the cutting are distinguished and described in the article. Almost all the details of the soft-soled boots from medieval properties of Pyatnitsky-I excavation site were found in the layers dated from 1230 to 1320 AD. Moreover the majority of them were discovered in the layers which have narrower date (from 1270 to 1290 AD). Only several finds are dated form 1150 to 1190 and from 1320 to 1360. After 1320s soft-soled boots disappeared and are replaced by the hard type of boots quite quickly. It coincides with the data obtained during excavations in other Russian towns.
