Статья посвящена боевому пути 1-й Волховской партизанской бригады, действовавшей в тылу противника в марте — апреле 1942 года. Рассматриваются цели и задачи ее деятельности, состав, основные этапы рейда в зоне боевых действий 2-й ударной армии и на оккупированной территории. Освещены основные результаты рейда, причины его малой успешности и значение для партизанского движения на Северо-Западе.

The article explores the military history of the 1st Volkhov partisan brigade operated in the rear of the Nazis in March — April 1942. Its structure, the purposes and tasks of its combat operations, the main execution phases of the raid in the of combat zone of the 2nd Shock Army and in the occupied territory are considered. The main results of the raid, the causes for its little success and importance for the partisan movement in the North-West are highlighted.
