Рассмотрены этапы взаимодействия представителей военных ведомств СССР и Великобритании в годы Великой Отечественной войны 1941—1945 гг. В работе рассмотрена деятельность сотрудников британской военной миссии в СССР, в сфере обмена информацией военного и разведывательного характера, в период начальной фазы битвы за Москву, в октябре 1941 года. Представленный материал иллюстрирует малоизвестный аспект советско-английских отношений в годы Великой Отечественной войны.

The article deals with the stages of interaction between the representatives of the military departments of the USSR and the UK during the Great Patriotic war of 1941-1945. The work presents the activities of the British military mission in the USSR, in the exchange of information of military and intelligence nature, during the phase of the battle for Moscow, in October 1941. As a result, the presented material illustrates a little-known aspect of the Soviet-British relations during the Great Patriotic war.
