Цель исследования — выявить специфику версии как жанра аналитической журналистики и определить её место в классификации жанров. Изучена история становления данного жанра, с помощью контент-анализа сделаны выводы о тематической специфике жанра, охарактеризована композиционная, структурная специфика, определена позиция автора, обозначена роль домысла и фактов, выявлена функция футурологического прогноза, охарактеризованы изобразительно-выразительные средства версии. Исследование проведено на материале телевизионных передач. Использованы исторический, типологический, сравнительный, статистический методы, метод наблюдения и контент-анализа. Впервые в исследовательской литературе представлен целостный анализ специфических жанровых особенностей версии.

This article is devoted to the genre of ‘version’. The purpose of the research is to reveal the specificity of the version as a genre of analytical journalism and to determine its place in the classification of genres. In order to achieve this goal, the following tasks were put forward: to study the history of the genre's formation, to make conclusions about the thematic specificity of the genre, to characterize its compositional, structural specifics, to identify the place of speculation and facts in the version, to reveal the role futurological forecast, to characterize the expressive means of the version. The empirical base of the research is the TV program "The Most Shocking Hypotheses" with Igor Prokopenko (RenTV) aired from 01.09.2015 to 01.03.2018 (193 issues). Theoretical basis was the works of A.A. Tertychny, D. Tumanov. The study used historical, typological, comparative, statistical methods, the method of observation and content analysis. A holistic analysis of the specific genre features of the version is presented for the first time. The findings should make an important contribution to the field of genre research and they can be used in the development of courses related to genre studies.
