30.04.2013  NovSU Medical College students studied local history in Borovichi and Konchanskoye-Suvorovskoye

NovSU MC students visited Borovichi town and the estate museum Konchanskoye-Suvorovskoye with educational excursion. The trip was organized as a part of educational discipline “Local History”.  It was due to Vadim Petrov,  the social and humanitarian disciplines lecturer,  and I. Kotlyarova , the Nursing Care Department  manager. Mainly sophomores and freshmen took part in the trip. Transport and guide were provided by Novgorod Joint Open-Air Museum.

In Konchanskoye-Suvorovskoye the colourful edition about the estate was presented to Novgorod students and lifestyle of Russian nobility and peasants in 18 – 19 centuries was shown. The ancient “merchant” town Borovichi and the famous estate of great military leader Alexander Vasilyevich Suvorov who hadn’t lost any battle made very strong impression on the future physicians.

It is planned to continue collaboration between the NovSU and  Novgorod Joint Open-Air Museum.
