27.04.2009  During April 6-21, Visiting professor Dale Carlisle taught Introduction to American Business Law course at the Faculty of Law, NovSU.

Prof. Dale Carlisle was appointed by Centre for International Legal Studies, Salzburg Seminar, Austria, to teach at Novgorod State University. 19 of 3-5 year law students attended Prof. Carlisle classes. The working language was English. All the participating students were awarded with Certificate upon completion of the above said course.  

Prof. Dale Carlisle has been a partner in a United States law firm and has more than 40 years of practice experience. He is a member of the Washington State Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, and tie American Bar Association. He has served as a faculty member at Seattle University School of Law, University of Puget Sound School of Law, and University of Maryland. He is admitted to practice before the United States Circuit Court of Appeals and is a former Vice President and General Counsel for Levitt-ITT and former United States Attorney.
