03.03.2017  Volunteers of NovSU discussed results of their work and plans for this year

On March 1, meeting of the NovSU volunteer organizations leaded by the assistant to the Vice Rector for Social Development and Educational Work Lyudmila Babarkina took place at NovSU. Leaders/curators of 8 volunteer organizations out of 11 declared participated at the meeting.

The following questions were on the agenda:

1. Development and adoption of the Statute (draft) on Volunteer Organization.
2. Work plan of volunteer organizations for 2017.
3. Volunteers’ activity report for the previous period.
4. Quantitative list of participants of volunteer organizations.

Following the results of the meeting, the NovSU Academic Council decision to organize a Day of Volunteers was supported. Exact dates are not defined yet, but attendees unanimously made the proposal about holding this event in November.

Let's remind that the following volunteer organizations currently carry out their activity at the NovSU: "Patriot" – Polytechnic School; Legal Clinic of NovSU – School of Humanities; Volunteer association of students (School of Continuous Pedagogical Education); "Historian" (School of Humanities); The Humanitarian Emergency Assistance (College of Humanities and Economics); "Team" (School of Continuous Pedagogical Education); "Young people to young people" (Medical College); volunteer organizations in the sphere of gardening of territories of NovSU (School of Agriculture and Natural Resources); "Nightingale Evenings" (School of Agriculture and Natural Resources); volunteer organizations of School of Economics and Management.

Besides, a volunteer organizations based at School of Agriculture and Natural Resources aimed at the tourism development is in the stage of development and creation.
