25.11.2015  The students of NovSU took part in the second all-Russian Forum “Student Russia”

Last week the second all-Russian Forum “Student Russia” was held in Samara. The organizers of this Forum are “Russian Union of Youth” and “Association of Students and Student Societies of Russia” with support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Samara Region.

Over one thousand students from more than 50 territorial entities of the Russian Federation took part in the Forum; among them, there were six Chairpersons of Student Councils of the NovSU schools and colleges and the NovSU Council of Post-Graduate Students and Attending Physicians: Lyudmila Babarkina, Maria Alexeyeva, Sergey Ivanov, Veronika Tabalina, Alyona Matveeva, Svetlana Bass. The delegation from the Syrian Arab Republic was invited to the Forum; it was headed by Abbud Maen – the Chairperson of the Union of Revolutionary Youth in Syria, the Chairperson of Committee for Matters Concerning Young Persons of National Council in Syria (the supreme legislative body of the country).

The final of the Russian National Prize "Student of the Year 2015" was held within the context of the Forum. 300 students from all over Russia, who were the winners of the regional stages, competed in 10 categories: “Social Activist of the Year”, "Sportsman of the Year", “Creative Personality of the Year”, "Volunteer of the Year", "International Student of the Year", "Journalist of the Year", “Discovery of the Year”, "Student leader of the Year", “Intelligence of the Year”, “Grand Prix of the Year."
