28.03.2015  Final Job Placement of NovSU School of Medical Education Graduates

On March 26, the final placement of future graduates took place in the White Hall of NovSU School of Medical Education. Rector of Novgorod State University Viktor Weber, the Head of Personnel Office at the Public Health Department of Novgorod Region Nina Lukyanova, the Deputy Director of NovSU School of Medical Education Rushan Sulimanov, and the Dean of the General Medicine Department Gennady Chuvakov participated in the event.

This year, 86 students graduate form the General Medicine Department. On February 17, they have already had their preliminary placement, which was attended by the head physicians of health care centers of Veliky Novgorod and Novgorod Region. Therefore, the graduates had enough time to think things over and make their choice. According to Nina Lukianova, those days health care centers of Novgorod Region need 192 doctors. District therapists, paediastrists,  phthisiatrichans, ambulancemen, anaesthetists und resuscitators are in great demand. All of those specialists are needed in Veliky Nivgorod, Borovich, Staraya Russa and Valday. As for the rural area, only seven more doctors are needed.
