Статья посвящена мотиву покаяния в романе Ф.М. Достоевского «Братья Карамазовы». Основное внимание уделяется гносеологическому содержанию покаяния, образно-символически выраженному в произведении. Выявляется евангельский и святоотеческий контекст мотива покаяния в романе.

The article explores the motive of repentance in the novel by F.M. Dostoevsky “The Brothers Karamazov”. The main attention is paid to the epistemological content of repentance, figuratively and symbolically expressed in the work. The gospel and patristic context of the motive of repentance in the novel is revealed.
