Представлен анализ повести В.П.Астафьева «Последний поклон» и рассказа «Конь с розовой гривой». Поэтика текстов дает возможность использования классической литературы в формировании фундаментальной основы жизни — отношения к Родине. Образы детства, семьи, природы, труда, быта, песен позволяют увидеть многогранную целостность восприятия автором Отечества.

The analysis of V.P.Astafiev's novel The Last Bow and one of the short stories The Horse with a Pink Mane is presented. The poetic style of the texts makes it possible to use classical literature to form the fundamental basis of life – the attitude to the Motherland. Images of childhood, family, nature, work, everyday life, songs allow us to see the integrity of the author's perception of the Fatherland.
