Vitaliy Zinoviev, the public official of the
Strategic Initiatives Agency to Promote New Projects in Novgorod Region, said
that for three years the RF government would pay for studying of three
thousand Russian students at the best foreign universities. The concept of
the program was worked out by the Agency.
The subsidies for studying will be given on master
and postgraduate programs. On completing the program, the graduate must
work in Russia. Those who will not return must compensate all the expenses
for education and will pay twice the amount of this sum of money (nearly
1500000 rubles). The president of Russia Vladimir Putin ordered to calculate
the money in the federal budget and not to raise the charges.
The participants could choose one of four
areas:
- High-Tech Companies
- Management in Higher Education and Science
- Central
and Local Authorities
- Welfare Institutions (Including Healthcare Institutions).
