05.04.2018  Representatives of the NovSU School of Economics and Management took part in the International Economic Congress

At the beginning of this week, Professor Magomed Omarov, the Chair of the Department of Marketing and Personnel Management, and Dmitry Minin, Associate Professor of the Department of Finance and Statistics of the NovSU School of Economics and Management took part in the IV St. Petersburg International Economic Congress (SPEC-2018) “Foresight "Russia": New Industrial Society. The Future".

The fourth meeting of the SPEС-2018 continued the work begun three years ago. During the session many topics were under discussion, including development of the second-generation industrial economy, integrating high-tech production, science, engineering and education.

Leading scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences, major universities and other scientific and educational centers of Russia, deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, representatives of the government, heads of enterprises of the real sector of the economy, representatives of civil society of Russia and foreign colleagues took part in the Congress.

Within the framework of the Congress, the meeting of Free Economic Society of Russia took place.  In addition to the scientific part, the reelection of the board of the VEO of Russia was held. The chairman of the Novgorod regional office, Magomed Omarov, confirmed his authority among scientists and was re-elected to the board.

As a result of the Congress’ work, a system of recommendations for the renewal of economic policy in Russia was developed, and a scientific collection of Congress materials was published.
