A preliminary defense was held in the round table format. At first, the students presented the projects, then the authorities asked questions, clarified the details and gave advice.

The first presented project, aimed at increasing the tolerance level towards blind and visually impaired people, as well as enabling them to find employment, was named "Five Senses".

The experts liked the project "Mentoring of Children Registered with the Juvenile Commission", but Anna Biryukova, the Deputy Head of the Novgorod Region Administration, suggested to change the project title and make it more creative and positive.

The authorities’ representatives were particularly interested in the specific objectives of the projects. According to the results of the preliminary defense of the projects, the best of them will be selected for detailed development and implementation in practice.
