05.10.2019  Eight NovSU students will participate in the final of WorldSkills National Interuniversity Championship.

From April 28 to May 1, 2019, the third qualifying championship of NovSU “Young Professionals” was held at the University. Similar Championships were held at 81 universities of the Russian Federation. According to the results of the championship, the best students of NovSU were identified by 11 competencies.

In September, they took part in the all-Russian qualifying competitions for reaching the final of the National interuniversity championship “Young Professionals (WORLDSKILLS RUSSIA)”.  Winners of University Championships from all over Russia met at the sites of the qualifying championship. According to the results of selection, 8  NovSU students (seven from the Polytechnic College and one from  the School of Medical Education) will participate the final.

-  “Web Design and Development”: Nikita Kharitonov, the a student of the Polytechnic College;

- “Operation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems”:   Igor Myagkov, the student of the Polytechnic College;

- “Development of Virtual and Augmented Reality”:   Edgar Chernyaev and Anastasia Lvova, the students of the Polytechnic College;

- “Machine Learning and Big Data”:  Ilya Novichkov, the student of the Polytechnic College;

- “Corporate Protection Against Internal Threats to Information Security”: Maxim Sorokin and Daniil Cherepanov, the students of the Polytechnic College;

- “Pharmacy”: Galina Ivanova, the student of the Institute of Medical Education.

The national championship will start on November 25 in Moscow. Venue - Exhibition of Economic Achievements.
