04.10.2017  The results of the regional competition “Russia Looking to the Future” are announced

On October 3, a jury members’ meeting for the regional stage of the student projects open competition “Russia Looking to the Future” was held in the Conference Hall of the NovSU main building. The chairperson - Vice-Rector for Social Development and Educational Work Mikhail Ranenko.

The competition initiated by the students started on June 12; its goal is to stimulate the young people to find solutions to topical issues of our country development. The competition has two stages: (1) June 12 - October 6, 2017 ­- the regional stage, (2) October 6-31, 2017 – the federal district stage.

 

The results of the regional stage were summed up at a jury meeting and laureates and diploma holders were named in the following nominations: the best literary work (essay), the best graphic work (photo, poster), the best video work. Vadim Trishkin, a student of the NovSU School of Humanities became the best one in “a literary work” nomination; Daria Strizhak, a student of the NovSU School of Continuous Pedagogical Education won in “the best graphic work” nomination. The title of the laureate in the nomination “the best video work” wasn’t awarded.

 

The winning projects of the regional stage will take part in the federal district stage, where the winners in each nomination and a Grand Prix holder will be determined. The results will be announced on October 31, 2017.
