25.03.2014  Cooperation of NovSU and Campus Europe

A number of events devoted to the cooperation of NovSU and Campus Europe Association took place in March

A session of the Committee of Directors in Luxemburg and the meetings of the “Humanity (History)”, “Pedagogical Education”, “Economics” and “Law” Subject Committees became the main events.

 

Tatyana Kudryashova, a Deputy Director of the NovSU School of Economics and Management was a participant of the session of the Committee of Directors and meeting of an Economics Subject Committee. In 14 March’s Committee of Campus Europae in Luxembug, they summed the results of  2013 up, heard the financial report provided by the leaders of the foundation, discussed new Campus Europe development issues backed up by “Erasmus Plus”, the new program of European educational cooperation development. Three universities - Medical University of Lodz, University of Naples and University of Nice - have recently entered the foundation.  Greifswald University (Germany) resigned its membership under a number of organizational reasons. 

Tatyana Kudryashova and her Subject Committee colleagues discussed the opportunities of educational student exchange in new academic year (2014-2015). Students of Economics and Management School of NovSU have been successfully studying at University of Lodz Faculty of Management for two years. 

A Session of Subject Committee in Pedagogical Education was held in Aristotle University (Thessaloniki, Greece) on March 16-17. Natalya Shaydorova, the head of NovSU Office of International Affairs,   participated it. That was a brilliant opportunity to make the acquaintance of a new Campus Europae partner. University of Greece became a member of educational Networking a year ago. 

At the same time, Elena Sergeeva, the head of Russian History Department, was working as a member of Humanities Subject Committee in Luxemburg. As a result of negotiations, it was decided to organize an online conference “The Phenomenon of Sustainability during the Crisis Epoch” at NovSU for all partner Universities. The online format of the conference will permit the participants to exchange their opinions about the reports made without leaving their countries. 

The Campus Europae events continue: on March 26-27, Law Subject Committee will be held. Valentina Grokhotova, the head of NovSU Department of Law, takes part in it.
