14.10.2013  Students of the Polytechnic School visited the Russian Museum and the Catherine Palace in St. Petersburg

Last weekend students of the Polytechnic School visited St. Petersburg with a sightseeing tour. The trip was organized by NovSU Trade Union.

On the tour around the historic center and during a short walking tour, NovSU students saw many famous city sights, monuments and architectural ensembles of St. Petersburg, e.g. the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood.

A visit to the Russian Museum and the Catherine Palace in Pushkin took the main part of the tour. Here, our students had an opportunity to see the famous Amber room.

According to the students, everything they had seen left great impression on them. As the organizers say, it is important to not only go somewhere and learn something new, but also do it together while you are young.

At the beginning of the tour, not all of the students were acquainted with each other, but by the return home, they were a company of joyous friends already.
